The Verb of the Week is å gå, meaning "to go", "to walk". Let's conjugate this irregular verb, before we try out a few sentences --
jeg går = I go
du har gått = you (sing.) have gone
han gikk = he went
hun hadde gått = she had gone
vi vil gå = we will go
dere vil ha gått = they will have gone
de ville gå = you (pl.) would go
Jeg skrivet et langt brev, og nå gå jeg til posthuset for noen frimerker.
I wrote a long letter, and now I’m going to the post office for some stamps.
Vi går ikke på kino i kveld; det er ingenting som vi vil se.
We are not going to the movies tonight; there is nothing we want to see.
Jeg skal gå til Frognerparken, men jeg trenger ti kroner til.
I want to go to Frognerparken, but I need another ten kroner.
