The Verb of the Week for week 50 is å begynne, "to begin, to start". As in English, it is often used with an infinitive -- "begin to dance", "beginning to rain", and so on.
Here are the conjugations of this verb:
jeg begynner = I begin (present tense)
jeg her begynt = I have begun (present perfect tense)
jeg begynte = I began (past tense)
jeg hadde begynt = I had begun (past perfect tense)
jeg vil begynne/byrje = I will begin (future)
jeg vil ha begynt = I will have begun (future perfect)
jeg ville begynne/byrje = I would begin (present conditional)
jeg ville ha begynt = I would have begun (present perfect)
and here are some sentences using it:
Jeg er endelig begynner å føle meg bedre etter influensa.
